We posted a photo of a new design we tried, which was our Feather Deco tier.  This involved a bubble balloon, with a feather boa inserted inside it.  After posting this on our website and on Facebook, one week later we got a phone call requesting eight of these, plus an extra eight with another balloon inside instead of the boa.

This booking goes to show that a picture is worth a thousand words.  We always look to try new designs out, so if anybody has any ideas of what they would like, give us a call and we will happily work with you to create the look you desire.

Spiral Arch for Store Opening

Funky Muppet joined forces with Linley & Simpson again over this weekend to promote their new branch in Chapel Allerton, Leeds.   We have previously worked with Linley & Simpson on numerous events around Yorkshire, from Leeds to Harrogate to Ripon.

They required an eye-catching spiral arch to showcase their new storefront in their brand colours.  Being May and England, we had to fight against the windy weather, but our Aeropole made it possible.  The heavy bases withstood the gusts of wind thrown at it and the arch was still intact hours later at 4.00pm when we collected it.

We are already looking forward to our next ventures with Linley & Simpson.

Shamrocks and Leprechauns!

Funky Muppet provided balloons for one of our regular clients this week, Kirk Deighton Junior Football club who held their annual football fundraiser at Wetherby Golf Club.  Each year it has a different theme and this year it was St Patrick’s Day.

We provided an adorable Leprechaun to sit and take care of their raffle table along with a St Patrick’s Day themed spiral arch to wow their guests as they entered the room.

We also decided to provide a 10ft wide Quick Link Shamrock*.  This came out as good as we hoped and there were oohs and aaghs from a lot of the golfers who were relaxing after their rounds of golf. It was a perfect background for their dance floor.

We are already looking forward to next year’s theme.

Valentines Link Heart

Funky Muppet Balloon Decorators - QL Heart

One of our regular corporate clients ordered one of our brand new heart designs this week (with thanks to Luc Bertrand for the recipe) especially for their staff for Valentines Day and we could not wait to fulfil their order.  Consisting of Qualatex’s quick link balloons, it really made a big impact in their reception area.  The heart itself is around 6-7ft at its widest and 4-5ft in height.

It is just perfect for any “love” occasion, from Valentines to anniversaries to weddings, we even think a partner could order this special arrangement for their other half to celebrate a birthday.  The balloons come in many different colours and can match your chosen colour scheme.

As well as the quick link heart, they also ordered floor heart foil arrangements dotted around their front and rear entrances.  We also spelt out the word “LOVE” in large 34” foil red letters to go above a photo booth they had ordered.

I am sure their staff had a great day.

Snowflake Printed Spiral Arch

The girls at Funky Muppet have this week produced a special arch for a special event. Our snowflake printed arch was created for the black tie Sleigh Ball in aid of NSPCC at Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate on 13 December 2014.

It fit in perfectly with their snowflake theme. We got some lovely feedback afterwards from the organisers and we are so happy they themselves got some great comments towards it.
